      The NutraVine™ Nutraceutical Products are not simply the traditional vitamin and mineral supplements -- NO artificial or synthetic chemicals are used in our nutraceutical food formulations. Rather, high concentrations of whole foods, food enzymes, probiotics, and phytonutrients (plant-based, herbal nutrients) are combined in specific, highly digestible and absorbable formulas, which can be utilized by people of all ages for the express purpose of building or rebuilding health and assisting the body's own recovery from imbalance, disorder, and disease.

       The vitamins and minerals in most supplements are not the same as the vitamins and minerals in food. In these supplements, even the so-called "natural" ones, the ingredients are called "USP" (United States Pharmacopoeia). That means that these vitamins and minerals are isolated pharmaceutical chemicals. For example, Vitamin B-6 in vitamins is pyridoxine hydrochloride, a synthetic USP chemical. Pyridoxine hydrochloride isn't found in any food. The only vitamins that are found in food are in a highly complex form we call the "food matrix," containing proteins, carbohydrates, lipids, bioflavonoids, and other food factors. Our bodies do recognize and cam utilize these "food matrix" vitamins. Likewise, the USP minerals are not food -- they are rocks and metals mined from the ground. These isolated chemicals may cause other mineral imbalances in the body, since they are not fully digestible, and they may cause your body to excrete other minerals from its own bone and tissues in an effort to utilize them. Although health food stores display a wide variety of vitamins and minerals, these isolated materials are not the same as the fruits, vegetables, essential oils, and proteins that nature has long provided.
